This Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) describes what is and is not allowed on the HouseHub platform (the “Platform”). It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service, and it applies to everyone who uses the Platform — Homeowners, Professionals, and visitors — and to all content you submit. If you break this Policy, we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate your account, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities.
When you use HouseHub, you agree to act lawfully, honestly, and respectfully. Use the Platform only for its intended purpose: helping Homeowners discover and connect with Professionals for legitimate home-related work. Do not use the Platform in any way that could harm HouseHub, other Users, or any third party.

If you are a Homeowner, you agree to: submit genuine Job Requests for work you actually intend to have done; provide accurate information; make only lawful requests; and use a Professional's contact details only to discuss and arrange legitimate Home Services. Do not request anything illegal, unsafe, or that you do not have the right to request.
If you are a Professional, you agree to: hold and maintain all licences, certifications, bonding, and insurance required by law for the Home Services you offer; comply with all applicable laws; describe your business, services, and credentials truthfully; honor the commitments you make to Homeowners; not misrepresent any badge or status; and communicate professionally. You are responsible for the conduct of your employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
If you see content or behavior that violates this Policy, or that raises a safety concern, please report it to us at support@househub.ca. We review reports and take action where appropriate, but we are not obligated to monitor the Platform and cannot guarantee that we will review or act on every report.
We may, at our discretion and to the extent permitted by law, take any action we consider appropriate for a violation of this Policy or our Terms of Service, including removing or disabling content, issuing warnings, limiting features, suspending or terminating accounts, withholding or forfeiting fees, and cooperating with law enforcement. We are not liable for actions taken in good faith to enforce this Policy.
We may update this Policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date shows when it last changed, and your continued use of the Platform means you accept the updated Policy. Questions about this Policy can be sent to support@househub.ca.
